Summary

Birke’s boss started a new charitable foundation called Global Rivers Alliance. Tiffany volunteered to help. She made copies of posters while Birke talked to her about the Isar when the smooth banks were dismantled by birders and the river allowed to run where it pleased. Birke wanted the same thing to happen with the Rhine. Unfortunately the birders that Stephen had hoped would donate money to the project weren’t happy with him and didn’t like his campaign designs.

George, Birk’s boss, hit on Tiffany but she ignored him. Even after he took her swimming and held onto her to pull her out of the water, Tiffany was still not interested in George.
