Chapter Eight Summary

Brian relegates himself to the back seat, happy they would see Reeve soon. They talk briefly about Hannah, and how Jodie and Stephen had searched for her in New York; they talk about the impact of finding her at all; and then they go on to subjects that Janie prefers. She keeps trying to get Reeve's radio station on the dial, but is unsuccessful. They drive straight to the Marriott and check into their room. Reeve, meanwhile, is taking calls at WSCK. Reeve wants to shake things up a little bit with his next broadcast. So far, they've all been 'Gently Janies'. This time, he plans to deliver a gut wrenching Janie to his audience.
