Chapter 13 Summary

The next morning is Sunday. Blake tells Reacher he needs to spend the day reading the case files, so he can give them an update on his thoughts at the breakfast meeting on Monday. Harper sits with Reacher while he goes through the files.

After reviewing the files, Reacher tells Harper he thinks the guy is driving to his destinations. Because drive-time and surveillance time would add up to weeks worth of time, Reacher says he doesn't think it is someone on a three-week work rotation schedule. Harper and Reacher go to the shooting range and Reacher helps to show Harper how to shoot better. When they get back to the office, Reacher goes through the list and narrows the women down to the ones that live alone in secluded houses. He tells Harper that eleven women are the target, with three of them dead, it leaves...
