Summary
Chapter 11 begins after Richard’s funeral, with the three women eating Chinese food together. Cullie tells the other two about her predicament with the new dating app she told CJ she was working on. They each determine that they are all lonely for true companionship in their own ways, and Bindu has an idea that Cullie likens to a “thought-grenade she was about to expel into the air” (100).
Chapter 12 starts with Bindu declaring that Cullie “need[s] test cases” in order to make the perfect dating app (102). From an idea from Bindu, Cullie decides they need “something that…makes [dating apps] work better for each individual” (103).
