Summary

Chapter 6 begins with Aly and Bindu at lunch as Bindu tells Aly she thinks that Cullie “should come home” (43). Aly tells her that she managed to book Meryl Streep for an interview despite the fact that it is not confirmed and she might not be interviewing herself. She also tells Bindu that the HOA has been calling her telling her that Bindu has been “ignoring their emails again” (45). Aly reflects on the betrayal she felt when Bindu moved out of her house and into Shady Palms.

At the start of Chapter 7, Bindu arrives back at her home to find Richard there with flowers. Bindu begins to prepare dinner for them.
