The Struggle, Chapters 11-12 Summary

In Chapter Eleven of The Struggle, the second book in The Vampire Diaries series, we find Elena Gilbert being rescued from the roof of Caroline's house by Damon Salvatore, her nemesis and Stefan's vampire brother. He once again makes her the offer to join with him as his Queen of The Darkness, teasing and flirting with her. Elena cannot deny the wildfire attraction that she has for him, but tries to fight it off. Instead of giving into him, she throws herself from the roof but is magically caught and saved by Damon before she hits the ground.
