The Awakening, Chapters 11-12 Summary

Chapter 11 of The Awakening begins right after Elena meets her stranger in the gymnasium, bursts out of the room and finds her friends. She is obviously scared but doesn't want to talk about it. The next week passes by quickly, as the trio try to organize the Halloween Ball and Elena sees more of Stefan, all carefully in public and chaperoned by her Aunt.

At the end of the week Elena goes over to her friend Bonnie's house with Meredith to try and finish arranging the Halloween Ball. There her friends again ask her how it is going with Stefan since they are worried about her, and Elena replies that she doesn't really know. Stefan seems to be keeping her at arm's distance and seems to be hiding something. Nearing the stroke of midnight, Bonnie reveals that...
