The chapters continue to be short. Chapter 23 starts on page 267. The details the author gives throughout the book may be surprising, depending upon how much readers already know about race car driving. Overall, this book makes a good introduction to racing. It is also a great way for enthusiasts to find out, through one man's personal experience, what the world of auto racing is really like. Perhaps it is the speed itself: the author somehow packs a lot of information into this work and yet comes across as being brief the entire time.
