Apollo
Apollo is a former god whose father, Zeus, turned into a mortal teenager named Lester Papadopolous. While his powers were removed, he is slowly gaining them back throughout the course of the novel. This includes his music skills, ability to sway or control people with his voice, and his archery prowess. Despite this, Apollo suffers from extreme guilt with everything he and those around him have to deal with, as he feels he could deal with everything if he were stronger. Furthermore, Apollo is forced to face the terrible things he did as a god (such as bullying or curses), and accept that he can change despite his past. This acceptance allows him to regain more of his godly power and call down Diana, the roman counterpart of his greek goddess sister, Artemis.
