Chapters 63 through 66 Summary

The next section of the book is titled "The Darkest Night of the Year" and takes place in December of 97 A.V. The section opens with a flyer circulated by Guilder's office that Sergio has been captured and will be executed the following day in a public event. In chapter sixty-three, Amy's plan is coming together. Their hope is that Guilder will allow the members of the Twelve to kill Amy and the plan is for Eustace to run into their midst and detonate a bomb, hopefully killing them all. There is little security around the compound and they slip in easily, joining the prisoners headed for the execution.
