Antionette Conway
Conway is very easily influenced by those around her. Although she tries to give off a tough vibe, she still sways with the various opinions and only comes to a conclusion of her own when she is able to assert her independence. At first, Conway does not like Aislinn, but after the interview with Lucy, Conway is much more willing to hear more about her story. Throughout the whole novel, Conway is battling with Detective Breslin about who the real murderer is. She fights with her intuition on this one, and switches to the different sides of what she believes. She is only able to realize who the real murderer is after she settles matters in her own life.
There are some stark similarities between Conway and the murder victim she is investigating, Aislinn Murray. These similarities only sharpen the one main difference between the two woman...
