Summary

In Chapter 32,Tracy and Stan make the flight to California and rent a car to drive to Penny's house. Tracy reveals she knows that Penny helped Andrea get a new identity. It takes only a short time for Tracy to wear Penny down so that she is willing to take Tracy to the cabin where Andrea is hiding.

In Chapter 33, Tracy drives Penny's car, and Stan drives the rental car. During the drive, Penny insists that Andrea has not had any sort of psychotic break and that Andrea will soon see why she had to go into hiding. Tracy questions Penny and learns that there is an old shotgun in the cabin that had been used for years to shoot snakes. Inside, Tracy discovers Andrea is pregnant.
