Summary

Chapter 20 reverts to Andrea's perspective. She knows she will soon be walking away from her only friend in Portland and agrees to meet Devin after work. She impulsively tells Devin that she has hidden all the money from her trust to protect it from Graham. Devin orders drinks, but Andrea does not drink hers. Some men begin paying attention to them and order another round. Devin drinks all four and is clearly getting drunk. She goes to the bathroom and Tracy hears Devin's cell phone and discovers that she has one phone on the table and a second in her purse, which is unzipped. Andrea looks at the second phone and recognizes Graham's number. She can read the first few words of several text messages. Devin returns and leaves with a man she just met.
