The Man from "The Collector"
The unnamed man leaves Cuba by plane, and moves to a suburban area in Florida. He works three jobs, as a dishwasher, a dog groomer, and a tomato picker. After seeing the debris from a broken up raft, the man begins collecting boats he finds. His collection grows enormous, and he tries to save up money to build a tower to display the boats in, and to share their stories. After his neighbors grow irritated, however, he eventually takes the boats apart.
