Apollo/Lester Papadopoulos
Apollo (also known as Lester in his human form) is a god who was cast down to earth as a mortal by his father Zeus for reasons that are not explored in this novel. However, it is up to Apollo and his demigod master Meg to defeat Nero and Python while restoring the Oracle of Delphi where Python is currently residing.
As a narrator, Apollo is somewhat unreliable, as he likes to embellish or ignore things that make him look bad. He is also very sarcastic, especially in what he says to the reader. However, Apollo is also emotional and it is clear that he has changed much over the course of the series as many of the characters say that he has become more human.
