Percy Jackson
Percy continues to be the main character of the series, and readers see the book from his first person perspective. Percy is a demigod, the son of Poseidon and a mortal mother, Sally Jackson. Unlike in the previous two books, Percy comes off as a more experienced and confident character. While there are still plenty of things that Percy is unsure about, he reacts more naturally when he’s faced by the supernatural, and readers can really feel that he is someone who has spent the last two years being molded into a hero.
