Summary
Annabeth’s father takes the group away from the mountain. They try to heal Zoe, but between the poison and her wounds from fighting Atlas there isn’t anything they can do. She and Thalia reconcile, and Artemis says how proud she is of Zoe before she dies. Percy tells Annabeth about how much her family cared, and her father reassures her that she will always have a home with them. Blackjack arrives with several others of his kin to take the group to Olympus so Artemis can attend a meeting with the gods to discuss what to do about the Titan threat. On the way, Annabeth warns Percy that she feels that Luke is still alive, even after falling off the mountain. She expresses her hope that he can still be redeemed, arguing that he’s under Kronos’s spell.
