Summary

Blackjack takes Percy out to the sea where he finds a strange serpentine creature trapped in a fishers net. He manages to get the creature free much to the delight of the Hippocampi. Percy starts to return to his cabin, but stops when he sees Nico spying on the hunters. He uses Annabeth’s cap to get closer and listen in. Phoebe had gotten sick from a prank the Ares campers played on her, so she is unable to go on the quest. Bianca mentions that Zoe had another vision like Percy, but she doesn’t go into details about what she saw. Zoe decides that they need to leave immediately.
