Summary
In Chapter 90, an entry from Joyce’s diary, Joyce writes that Elizabeth discovered that Ian’s widow sold Coopers Chase to a company called Bramley Holdings. Joyce thinks the name sounds familiar, but is not sure where she has heard it.
In Chapter 91, Gordon tells Joyce and Elizabeth he had never liked Ian, but when Ian said he would get Gordon’s land one way or the other, Gordon decided he would never sell to him. Gordon also tells Elizabeth and Joyce that he frequently visited the convent, especially when he had injuries that needed tending. Gordon allows Joyce and Elizabeth to look at his photo albums from the 1970s.
