Summary
In Chapter 74, an entry for Joyce’s diary, Joyce reports that Austin confirmed that the skeleton belonged to a man. There was a gunshot wound on his femur, but Austin did not believe the gunshot had killed him. Austin had also determined the body had been buried in the early ’70s.
In Chapter 75, Elizabeth sends Donna a text message asking her and Chris to meet with the members of the murder club.
In Chapter 76, Chris and Donna are both angry to learn that Elizabeth and the others did not contact the police about the body as soon as they learned about it. They are even angrier that they dug the body up again and had it forensically analyzed. Donna warns Elizabeth what they have done is a serious crime.
