Chapter Two Summary
Boaz does not come out of his room for three days. Zim wants to see him because Boaz used to be like a big brother to him. Levi tells him that he's a better big brother to his little brother, Peter, than Boaz is to him. Zim is taken aback by the statement. His mother knocks several times a day on Boaz' door. His only response is that he's sleeping. Boaz' surly tone of voice bothers Levi. He used to be so nice and affectionate to her. It hurts Amanda but she perks up - at least he's home, she thinks. Abba is taking it differently. He is cursing and slamming his fists on the table wanting to know when Boaz is going to come out of his room.
