Summary

Part Seven opens with Mrs. Turton’s definition of the conclusion portion of a research paper. In “What If?” Suzy realizes that humans are the only creatures on Earth that are aware of their surroundings and have the ability to decided to change.

In “The Only Thing That Ever Made Sense” Suzy learned from her mother the next morning that the airline had agreed to refund the price of her ticket back to her father’s credit card. Her mother hadn’t woken her for school that morning. Suzy went outside thinking that if her plan had gone as she had expected it to she would have been in Australia.
