Summary

In Chapter Twenty-Five, Aunt Lydia writes that Aunt Vidala “opened her eyes,” but she still has not spoken (387). She wonders what Aunt Vidala remembers of her attack, and realizes that she will likely figure out that Aunt Lydia orchestrated it. She also writes that Nicole’s “elopement note” has fostered “much speculation,” and that Aunt Lydia was asked what to do – so she allowed a search team of Angels to search for her (387). However, Commander Judd called Aunt Lydia into his office, angry that she let Nicole escape; she replied that they are taking “every precaution” to find her (388).
