Snow-sickness Summary
As they reach the bridge at the base of the orchards, Calwyn points out the beehives. Trout and Mica know that Calwyn used to help care for the beehives. Calwyn points out the Dwellings, which are the building where the sisters live. They notice how dark and quiet everything is and they think something might be wrong.
Calwyn insists they find Marna first. Calwyn says the sisters don't like strangers, but Marna will be more understanding. They say they understand since the last person to cross the wall was Samis, and who knows what he did when he was here. When they come to the infirmary that is burned to ground, with only one burnt wall left standing, Calwyn says Samis burned it to show them his powers.
The only sound they hear is a cough followed by terrible weeping coming from one...
