Tangleroot Forest

The Tangleroot Forest is the primary location in the novella "Tangleroot Palace." It is a place of thick woods where trees house the souls of people who have been trapped by the queen. There is a layer of ice over a stretch of water that holds a carved ice flower where the queen is trapped. It is where Sally goes to confront her situation with an arranged marriage and fulfill her destiny as a descendant of the witches who trapped the queen in the forest.
