Summary
In Chapter 16, George speaks to Isabelle, telling her of Caleb’s confession. Although Caleb did not speak in detail of his relationship with August, George and Isabelle suspect some type of romantic connection between Caleb and August. George and Isabelle wonder how long to wait before telling Prentiss that August was the one who murdered Landry. George and Isabelle also discuss burial plans for Landry’s body. Isabelle finds two socks on her clothesline, and she concludes that Landry must have made them for her and left them there as a gift.
