Summary
There is no way to know "the exact second your life changes forever" but Anthony Ray Hinton (Ray) would "like to believe it's what you choose to do after such as experience that matters the most" (1). In Jefferson County Jail on December 10, 1986, Hinton is visited by his mother and his best friend Lester. Found guilty of robbing and murdering two people, Hinton is awaiting sentencing knowing that the jury recommended he be sentenced to death. Lester and Hinton's mother both believe in his innocence and his mother keeps asking when he is coming home. Although he wants to shield his mother from the truth, Hinton has a plan. He prays for the truth to come out and he prays for a miracle.
