Summary
In Part Two, Chapter 6, one night "the previous winter," Christina looked at herself in the mirror of the yoga studio bathroom and saw a "female gargoyle" looking back (49). She had taken another Blue Telephone pill. The drug was a "designer concoction" made in a Memphis laboratory (49). The more she took it, the more it warped her sense of spacetime (50).
In an attempt "to straighten up," Christina joined the yoga class (51). During the session, she noticed an unfamiliar guy. He seemed weak and easy to manipulate.
