Summary

Chapter 1 takes place from Tommy’s point of view. Tommy and his associates are sitting at a school dance function and from how the author describes them, they are social outcasts of the school. Tommy is goaded into going to ask out a girl named Hannah to dance. Tommy finds her cute but he has a crush on a girl named Sara. Dwight, the school weirdo asks him to ask an Origami Yoda he has made for advice. Tommy ends up asking, after Dwight pesters him enough, and it tells him to wait things out. Tommy then sees the girl he was going to ask to dance with a large guy that is her boyfriend.

Analysis
