In the Rain Summary
Edgar heads over to the kennels and the barn. There, he sees a man standing in the rain, but doesn't believe it at first. The figure tells Edgar to release a dog, which he does. The dog -Essay -heads over to where the figure stood. The figure is Edgar's father, who signs Edgar to search the house before the rain stops. The search is to find something that someone thinks is lost forever. Edgar's father also tells him that Trudy will accept Claude's proposal because she is alone.
Edgar searches through the workshop and finds a small plastic syringe, three-quarters empty. Edgar's father tells him to remember him, and to find something else which Edgar is not able to completely understand.
