Summary
Chapter 91 opens with a report: Lila and Nino live together for 23 days. The days begin in great bliss. Lila never misses her old life, her old home or friends. She does not worry about money. Only Nino matters. They go out at night, and one night Antonio is on the streets, and she recognizes him. That night begins a mounting tension between the them. He is distracted and irritated all of the time. Eventually Nino confesses that he finds her excessive in her conversation. He starts going out in the evenings without her, and not going to sleep at the same time as she. Finally, because of his mounting tension and her forceful personality, they get into a fight one night and Nino leaves.
