The house
The house is where the old man and the old woman live together, with a separate barn for their goats. Although they live in a rural area, they are frequently visited by many other farmers and friends, and, after Poonachi gives birth, by traders. The couple has a quiet routine that they live out together, and are frequently in bed by the time the sun sets. Unlike the other goats, Poonachi, especially in her childhood, is allowed to roam through the house basically at will.
