The Camp
The camp represents the uncertainty of life of for evacuees caught in the middle of a territory war, exploited as a source of soldiers for the movement and as target practice for the government's bombs. As a central symbol, the camp signals the ever present danger evacuees live in. It is a temporary settlement that the movement directs evacuees toward for their safety, and yet is the target of daily bombings. The movement drafts able-bodied people from the camps to fight the government while the government bombs the camp to hurt the movement's resources; the evacuees are collateral damage to both sides.
