Point of View
The novel is written in first person from the perspective of Wallace Rachpaul. Wallace seems to address the reader throughout the novel. In Chapter 2, there is an example as he begins to describe himself. He says, “One thing about me, I love Legos” (8). This seems to be directed at the reader because there would be no other reason for Wallace to say this.
