Summary

In Chapter 7, Wallace has named his Lego castle The House of Moneekrom, and it has “devoured most of the living room” (48). Wallace knows Sue-ellen is going to make him remove it, but has come to the point that working on the castle makes him feel better about his entire life. When Sue-ellen returns home, she says the castle has to go.

Wallace's father, Benny, arrives. He introduces his girlfriend, Heike. Benny calls Wallace “Sir Wallace” and says, “You have impressed me, sir” (51) when he sees Wallace's castle. Benny and Heike met through Benny's weekend work as Rocky the Clown. Benny works at a regular job installing hand dryers.
