Summary
In Chapter 73, when Larry, Ralph, and Glen stopped to make camp that night, they noticed Kojak was not with them. It seemed like a bad omen. Larry suggested perhaps the dog had stayed with Stu.
Meanwhile, Stu was scared when he heard an animal coming in his direction, but it was Kojak with a rabbit. Stu wished he could build a fire, but there was no wood close enough for him to reach. On a whim, he asked Kojak to fetch and was surprised when the dog brought him dry wood. Stu cooked the rabbit and fed them both.
On September 28, about 20 days after Larry, Ralph, and Glen left Boulder, they were arrested by Burlson. Glen noticed that Burlson would not say Flagg’s name. For that reason, Glen said it for him. Glen said Flagg was also called him Beelzebub, Nyarlahotep...
