Summary

In Chapter 11, Lina and Aaron go two weeks without speaking. Then, one evening at work, Lina faints. Aaron helps her up. When she explains she is dieting for Isa’s wedding, Aaron says she is better than that. He calls her cute before helping her to his car.

Lina wakes up in the car to the sound of Aaron on the phone with Isa. Aaron reassures Isa that he is not a vegetarian. Lina’s phone gets flooded with texts from Isa and Mamá. Aaron reminds Lina that he is her best shot for a wedding date.

Aaron takes Lina to a Mexican food truck for dinner, then drives her home. He tells her to send him her flight details. Lina realizes she is glad to have him on her side.
