Summary
Bhima is almost ready to leave work when Sera asks for a cup of tea. The two women sit drinking tea and talking. Sera says she is glad Dinaz went out with her friends because her pregnancy has been difficult. Viraf is at Banu’s house doing her accounts. For a moment, Bhima worries about the current nurse, but then thinks that she is a married woman with children. Viraf would not be interested in her.
Sera notices that Bhima is scowling and asks what she is thinking about. When Bhima says her life is dark, Sera tells her that as women they cannot give up because they also live their lives for their children. She says men can take more risks than women because of that.
Viraf comes home. As Bhima sits thinking about what to do with Maya that night...
