Summary
Hearing Maya’s story makes hatred bubble up in Bhima. She remembers all the people who wronged her in the past, but what Viraf did makes her even angrier. She wonders if Viraf is bothered at all that he helped to have his baby with Maya aborted while his baby with Dinaz continues to grow. She believes Maya insisted that Sera come with her for the abortion as a means of punishing Sera’s family.
Bhima feels old and wonders how she could even begin to know what Viraf feels since he is a man and so different from her. She decides to tell him that she knows what he did.
