Summary
Bhima and Maya walk on the beach. Bhima feels her worries falling away from her. She tells Maya that she and Gopal used to come to the seaside before they had children. Maya asks if the Afghani balloon seller came there during that time. Bhima does not know but does not like the thought of him selling in the dirty place it was then. Maya says she is sure he did because she had learned in business class that sellers have to go where the business is.
Bhima suddenly feels an urge to slap Maya. She is not sure if she is angry because Maya had casually mentioned college or because she felt like her memories of the balloon seller had been desecrated. She snaps angrily at Maya that he did not come there. Maya responds it is no wonder that he...
