Summary

In Chapter 4, “We’re All Fugitives,” in the morning, Antonio showered, changed, and borrowed the phone to call Aura. Aura was furious with him for not calling her to tell her his whereabouts. She confronted him about making her worry and letting his accident affect their family. Antonio told her to put Leticia on the phone and talked to her for a moment before she put Aura back on. Aura begged Antonio to go home, insisting that she loved him and they could work everything out. Antonio told her he was with Maya and that nothing had happened between them, but that he did not know when he would be back. Aura hung up, frustrated.
