Summary
Bill has fitted a pickle barrel with air holes for the baby octopus, she is so small that she could escape any other container. She has a constant white spot on her head, is currently brown, and then develops stripes by her eyes. They name her Kali, after the Hindu goddess of destruction and creation. Montgomery would love to have a pet octopus, but her husband would have to take care of it while she is traveling, it is very expensive, and the farmhouse does not have great electricity infrastructure.
