Summary

In Chapter 16, we meet Excel back in Hello City, where he continued to help Red create his art. Sab had become unhappy in Hello City, and complained to Excel about her working conditions, her stress, and Excel’s reliance on her as the primary breadwinner of their relationship. Still keeping his TNT secret from Sab, he promised that he would learn to drive soon so that he could get steadier work in El Centro. Later, Lucia and Sab joined Excel in attending the opening of Red’s latest art installation. They marveled at enormous found object sculptures, and the crowds that had gathered for the party. Introducing his work to the audience, Red thanked Excel, crediting him for his help building his latest piece. Excel could not help but feel pride in contributing creatively to the installation, now on display for the world...
