Summary
Chapter 7 is Day 3 in Harry’s search for the killer. Harry presented the results of Skarre’s work on missing persons to Hagen. He described how he had found Birte’s mobile phone in a snowman and then showed him the letter he had been sent. After telling Hagen he was afraid they had some long dark days ahead of them he asked for ten detectives who could work on the case for five months. He was allocated three people — Katrine, Skarre and Bjørn Holm — along with himself to work on what he decided to call a missing person case.
Harry showed them the letter which made reference to a Snowman who would come and take another victim once the snow fell. There was a reference to Murri which Harry said was the nickname for the serial killer he had helped...
