Lennon Walker
Lennon is a seventeen-year-old girl whose has just suffered the worst loss of her life. Lennon's older sister, Bailey, died of a sudden cardiac arrhythmia just a month before the novel begins. As Lennon tries to deal with this loss, she returns to school and something like a normal life. However, nothing really seems normal to Lennon anymore.
Lennon and her sister were abandoned by their mother when they were toddlers. For this reason, Lennon and Bailey were closer than most siblings usually are. Bailey, a nineteen year old college student, was just beginning her life and planning a future that Lennon soon realizes that she knew nothing about. Each revelation causes Lennon to wonder just how close she and Bailey really were.
