Chapters 41-44 Summary
Chapter 41
The group of Tuatha'an is the same that Perrin encountered over a year ago on his way to Tar Valon with Egwene. Their leader, Raen, remembers Perrin and invites them to stay. Faile and Raen's wife try to mend Perrin's wound, but it is beyond them, and he is losing strength. After Raen had hinted at Perrin's ability to commune with wolves, Faile confronts him about it. Perrin tells her everything, and in return, she tells him that her father is not a farmer, but is Davrim Bashere, marshall general of Saldaea and uncle of Queen Tenobia.
Chapter 42
Perrin sleeps in one of the Tuatha'an wagons. In the wolf dream, he follows ravens to the Waygate, and finds that the leaf that Loial placed on the outside has been returned to the inside of the gate. The gate can once...
