England
England is where the majority of this book takes place. It is where Henry VI is born, lives, and dies, and he is primarily King of England. The book has scenes all over the country as battles are fought throughout England and the court moves to various places at different times. At this point in history, England does not have the massive empire it will gain in later centuries. It is a small island nation that is still beginning to play a more significant role on the broader European stage, namely through its wars in France.
France
France is the secondary location in the book. Henry VI begins the book as King of France as well as England, but he does not go to the country for many years and only visits his second realm once. France is the site of many wars between England and France...
