Summary
After years of imprisonment and house arrest in England, Margaret lives in exile in her father's French territory. Reliant on others financially for the rest of her life, Margaret dies in 1482 and is buried with her parents at Angers Cathedral.
In 1484, a man named Richard Beys is unjustly condemned to death. He is executed by hanging but when his lifeless body is cut down, Beys suddenly revives. This miracle results in a royal pardon for Beys, who later says that, while he hung in the noose, he saw a vision of King Henry VI who prevented his death. After King Henry VI's death, over 300 miracles are attributed to him and his tomb becomes a pilgrimage site. A religious cult develops around Henry VI shortly after his death and many advocate for his canonization.
