Summary

Fahrenberg was disappointed when a new batch of prisoners arrived, because it was George that he was waiting for. The guards, who had spent the night (since Overkamp and Fischer had left) drunkenly beating the inmates, now turned to the new arrivals. Zillich was miserable about falling from favor with Fahrenberg, who blamed him for the escapes.
