Evelyn's Apartment
Evelyn's apartment is in Manhattan's Upper East Side on 5th Avenue overlooking Central Park. This is where the interview takes places in the present timeline of events. In Evelyn's narration of her life story, she buys the apartment in the late 1960s and lives there with Celia while pretending to be married to Harry Cameron. Harry and John Braverman live in a second apartment just down the street. It is an expensive and beautifully decorated apartment featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, ivory carpet, and a grand piano.
